Regulations

1. The Type of Laboratory Analyses 2. Working Hours    The samples for measurements are undertaken in the laboratory from 8:00 to 16:00 o'clock. 3. Rules of Usage of all Laboratory Instruments    The laboratory realizes ordered measurements and leads the didactic demonstrations for advanced students of chemical science.    Analytical devices are controlled by the operator. Persons especially interested in measurements are personally able to realize them after a training. 4. Operator's Authorizations and Duties     The operator supervises the laboratory equipment, undertakes samples, prepares and gives measurement results. 5. Rules of Training for Employees and PhD Students and Rules of Realizing the Individual Measurements    Persons interested in individual measurements and experiments could obtain a training to operate the instruments after a declaration of their requirement and a permission of the laboratory's head. 6. Methods of Samples' Preparation and Delivery    The TG-DTA method requires a sample with the mass up to 15mg, for the DSC method the maximum mass of the sample is 1g, the TGA-DSC method requires a sample mass limited by the capacity of a crucible (70 lub 150μL).    It is necessary to attach an information about the melting point of a compound before the DSC measurement. There is no permission to search the materials which could sublimate, decompose, explode or react with the aluminum sample pans because it could damage the DSC instrument. THERE IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED TO RECEIVE AND RESEARCH PERCHLORATES AND OTHER EXPLOSIVES IN THE THERMOLABORATORY!!! 7. Methods of Registration for Measurements, the Sequence of Experiments    Every sample undertaken in the laboratory or declared for a research is registered accordingly to the chronological list of measurement orders. In the case of sudden requirements (short-lasting materials, conferences etc.) there is exceptionally possible to undertake a single sample out of the succession. 8. Methods of Collection of Experimental Data    The experimental results are transfered to customers as the electronic data. The results are often compiled and given as printed documents.
